CHARLOTTE MORSON
Principal Solicitor
Charlotte is an experienced litigator and legal costs expert. She provides quality advice and is a strategic thinker, committed to obtaining the best result for her clients.

Before moving to specialise in the area of costs, Charlotte worked as a litigator for over 10 years, acting in complex, large-scale litigation matters in the Local, District, and Supreme Courts of New South Wales as well as the Federal Court of Australia. She brings this first-hand litigation experience (and the reality of the costs involved in proceedings) to the legal costs arena.
Charlotte's speciality is complex costs disputes. She excels in the preparation of large Bills of Costs and quality legal submissions supporting or in opposition of the quantum of legal costs. She is an experienced advocate, acting directly for clients in all jurisdictions of New South Wales, as well as the Federal Court.

Charlotte is regularly retained by many of Australia's top law firms in complex, multi-million dollar costs disputes including class-action litigation.

Charlotte can act for clients directly, or can be engaged by law firms requiring expert advice, or a legal costs expert for the purposes of Security for Costs or Gross Sum Costs Applications in the Supreme Court and Federal Court jurisdictions.
She is currently a member of the Law Society of New South Wales' Litigation Committee and Treasurer of the St George Sutherland Shire Regional Law Society.
